VIC IS TRANSFORMED INTO A MEDIEVAL TOWN WITH CRAFTSMEN, TAVERNS AND STREET PERFORMANCES

The Mercat Medieval will return to our city with renewed energy. During these days, Vic becomes the ideal setting to recreate medieval times with exhibitors and events scattered throughout the old village with extensive and varied displays, ornamental pieces, jewelry, cosmetics, therapeutic remedies, clothing accessories, 'butifarra' (typical Catalan sausage), cheese showcases, pastries and delicacies of all sort.

Once in Mercat Medieval, you can skim options to eat in addition to inns or taprooms. There will be crêperies, grilled ham sandwiches, black pudding, drinks, homemade pastry, or hot dogs among other products.

The Mercat Medieval tradig and cultural offer, will be complemented by various recreational activities concerning all ages: children's playground, music, dances, art & craft recreations plus street performances will be filling the streets of downtown Vic.

In many ways this is a journey to medieval times, besides the artistic value we all manage to recreate a real medieval atmosphere.
